It took a long time but I was eventually I was diagnosed with a Bakers Cyst behind my knee which had burst leading to months of pain and reduced mobility. My physio sessions focused on strengthening around my knee and my legs in general. I am now pretty much pain free. In the last year I have taken part in a 100km Night ride in London, Cycled round and Kayaked the length of Lake Windermere, Trekked and Cycled 110km along Hadrian’s Wall and, most importantly, not given up skiing – (I had been told I should not go skiing again!).Getting my movement and being mainly pain free has meant everything to me! I may be 56 years old, but I do not accept the word can’t. I have always been active and want to maintain my activities for as long as possible. Thanks to the intervention of Kesson I am now equipped with the tools to look after myself and the comfort that I can call on Charlie at any time for his support.
